Arrival in Djanet. Welcome at Djanet Airport (Tiska) by our team. Set up camp in Tin Amali under a starry sky.
After breakfast, visit the city of Djanet. Depart by 4×4 towards the Oasis of Ihrir, passing through the village of Idaren. Upon arrival, set up camp for the night in the traditional zeribas of Ihrir.
Breakfast, followed by a hike to discover the gueltas of Ihrir. Then, depart by 4×4 to Dider to explore several rock engravings. After lunch, continue to Essendilene where we will prepare the bivouac.
Breakfast, then walk through the canyon of Essendilene, famous for its lush landscapes and gueltas. Depart by 4×4 to Tikoubaouine, where we will have lunch and set up camp for the night.
After breakfast, depart towards the Tadrart region with a lunch break at Amayes. In the afternoon, continue to El Berej for the night in a bivouac.
After a hearty breakfast, cross the valley of El Berej to admire the rock paintings. Picnic lunch, then head to Moul Ennaga for a bivouac under the stars.
Depart to discover the rock engravings and spectacular landscapes of the valley. Lunch at Wan Zawatan, then drive to the large dunes of Tin Merzouga. Dinner and overnight in the bivouac.
We will take the road towards the exit of Tadrart, with several stops to admire the rock paintings. Visit La Crique and have lunch on-site, before continuing to Tissetka for the bivouac.
After breakfast, return to Djanet to visit the city and its market. Picnic during the visit to the famous rock engraving “The Weeping Cow,” dating back to 8000 B.C. Dinner around the campfire and the last bivouac.
Return to Djanet and visit the city’s craft center. Dinner at Tin Amali before transferring to the airport for your overnight flight.
