Itinerary
Arriving late at night in Tamanrasset, our team will welcome you and take you to a hotel to rest. After breakfast, begin your journey to Tanguet, a peaceful desert location offering vast, open landscapes and a sense of tranquility. As night falls, settle into a tented camp, enjoy a delicious local meal, and unwind by the fire, gazing at the star-filled desert sky.
After breakfast, continue to the iconic Assekrem plateau in the Hoggar Mountains. Hike to the summit (2,706 meters) to visit the legendary Hermitage of Père de Foucauld and admire the breathtaking sunset over the Atakor Massif. Spend the night at the Assekrem refuge, surrounded by the serene beauty of the highlands.
Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise at Assekrem before descending to Ilamane. Marvel at the rugged terrain, ancient rock formations, and sweeping desert valleys. Enjoy a peaceful evening and camp overnight in the solitude of the Sahara.
Travel through the heart of the Hoggar region to In Houter, a hidden gem with dramatic cliffs, secret canyons, and lush desert oases. Along the way, immerse yourself in the geological wonders and Tuareg heritage of the region. End the day with a bivouac under the stars.
Journey to Tagmart, a land of remarkable rock formations and ancient cultural significance. Explore its breathtaking scenery, discover its historical ties to early calligraphy, and enjoy a scenic picnic. Spend your final night in a tent, reflecting on the unforgettable adventure.
Return to Tamanrasset for a relaxing lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, explore the city’s vibrant markets, visit the Silversmiths District, and browse exquisite Tuareg jewelry. End your journey with dinner at a traditional restaurant before transferring to the airport for departure.
